Department of Biochemistry was established in 2021 at Abbottabad University of science and Technology. The discipline of Biochemistry deals with the Molecular Biology, Genetic Engineering, Bio-nanotechnology and Biotechnology. There are the main and broad research domains in the department which are mainly focusing on the human biochemistry and as well as Biochemistry and Environmental Biotechnology.
The department currently offers a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and is planning to introduce M.Phil. and PhD programs in the near future. Our objective is to deliver a comprehensive introduction to the field. In addition to academic pursuits, the Biochemistry laboratories offer essential facilities for students.
The department consistently revises its curriculum to reflect the latest advancements in Biochemistry, ensuring that students receive a contemporary education. To further enhance professional training and future career prospects, a diverse range of study programs has been developed.
