PROFILE

Dr. Abidah is a distinguished faculty member in the field of Pharmacy and Pharmacognosy. Her passion for research led her to hold the distinction to become the first Pakistani to earn a PhD in Pharmacognosy from the USA. Also as the first Pakistani to graduate from the School of Pharmacy at the University of Mississippi in the USA, she has blazed a trail for other aspiring pharmacists from her country. Her dedication to excellence, passion for research, make her an invaluable asset to any academic institution.

  • Assessment of herb-drug interactions and bio-activity for safety and efficacy
  • Qualitative and quantitative analysis of plant samples and dietary supplements by developing validated analytical methods using hyphenated UHPLC-MS, HPTLC, etc.
  • Morpho-anatomical study of medicinal plants
